How we verify

• Official sources only. State revenue agencies, county appraisal districts, property appraisers and tax assessors. No blogs, realtor pages or other aggregators.
• Evidence for every value. Each amount, date, form and link on a page is tied to a quote from an official page. A value whose quote we can't find on the page is not published.
• Weekly checks. We re-fetch each source every week. If its text changes, we re-read it. Wording updates publish automatically; changes to dates and dollar amounts are reviewed by a person first.
• Gaps are marked. Where we have no verified value, the page says "Confirm with the office" and links to the office contact. We never estimate.
• Automation, disclosed. Software, including AI models, reads the official pages and fills in our database; validation scripts and people check the results. Pages are generated from that database, not written by AI.
